Launch your career as a Production Technician at Vistra. As a technician at one of Vistra's power generation facilities, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of a Gas Fired Power Plant. This includes water treatment systems, circulating water systems, condensate/feedwater systems, heat recovery steam generator systems, turbine systems, generator systems, control systems, electrical systems, and various other plant systems.
As a Power Plant Operator at Vistra, you will be responsible for performing operations functions, preventive and corrective maintenance as applicable to job function to ensure proper functioning of plant equipment; will work under the direction of site management and communicate effectively with control room personnel, maintenance teams, management, and other departments during normal and emergency operations.
